35th Tumor Genetics Workshop
Our colleagues from our sister company MetaSystems Probes are attending the 35th Tumor Genetics Workshop (Tumorgenetische Arbeitstagung, TGA) in Rostock, Germany. At our booth, you can get deeper insights into the extensive portfolio of FISH probes and learn about the latest products. The first day of the TGA was packed with exciting contributions, starting with a look back into the history of the TGA by the conference president Prof. Gundula Kadgien, MD.
Since the beginning, the TGA has been the highlight of every cytogeneticist's heart, and the number of participants has grown steadily. A fixed component is "the conference chromosome", this time chromosome 7. In line with the 7 landmarks of the city of Rostock, including the city hall with its 7 towers, Dr. Janine Wehrhahn (MVZ für Humangenetik Rostock) had chosen chromosome 7 for the 35th TGA. At the get-together in the evening, the physical well-being was well taken care of and the possibility for a lively personal exchange was given.
Want to know more about the DNA FISH probes portfolio and the DNN-based karyotyping with Ikaros? Take the opportunity and visit us at our booth like Prof. Dr. med. Claudia Haferlach did!
